Calling Men - Dating for Women

As time passes by, the dating process gets more and more involving. Many delicate issues have to be taken into consideration. As a woman who is interested in a given man, you will need to know how to play your cards well. In a nutshell, you will have to strike a good balance without going to extreme ends. The problem is determining where the balance really lies, as it's certainly not in the middle ground where everything is shared equally between both parties.

One of the major areas where there is need for such delicate balance is the use of phones. Should you call the guy when you are dating? The general guideline is that you should not be quick on the phone. When you have gone out with a charming man on a great date, where he promised to give you a call, you will be longing for the promised time of call to reach quickly. In case that time comes and passes without hearing from him, you will be greatly tempted to call him instead.

Is it a test?

The man may not have called you in a deliberately calculated move. Many men use the phone as a manipulative tool that helps them in studying us. If your man is not calling as a way of testing you, you will do well not to call back and ask what on earth he could be thinking. If you appear to be too impatient to wait for his call, he will be content by the fact that he has already 'hooked' you. In this comfort, he will not be inclined to call. The best way of passing the test is not calling, which will show him that he still has some work to do in order to win you. Make him notice you using curiosity.

If the man called while you were away, it is only fair for you to call him up - but only if he left some message. Another instance where you should call the man is when he expressly gives you his number so that you call him.

We usually communicate in a different way from the men, and understanding this will give you better chances of success.
