Dating Men - Should You or Should You Not Call the Guy?

As natural as the dating process may be, there are a lot of unspoken rules that you should be aware of in order for things to sail smoothly. People generally try to appear at their best at the first date. One of the things that tend to occupy our minds when things go well during the date is when the guy will place a call.

The use of the phone is one of the things that you will find a lot of arguments and counter-arguments about. The general rule is that you should not call the guy. However, there are a few instances where it may be appropriate to do the calling.

When to make the first call
After your first date, you are strongly advised to avoid calling the guy. There is really just one case where this rule does not apply. During that initial date, the guy may have given you his number while you were not comfortable to give yours in return. It is then that the responsibility of making the first call will fall on you. This is the only exception to the rule of never calling a man after your first date since there are a lot of tacit rules in the dating game. Basically, if he is interested in you, he will surely call however late it may seem to you. When you call the guy just after a couple of days, you are likely to drive a wedge between you.

In case you have been dating for quite some time and you are already at ease with the relationship, should you change the pattern and start calling? Here too, the general rule is that you should not call - unless he has your word that you would do it, in which case he will be expecting it. Habits are very easy to form.

While you may see nothing wrong with calling just to find out how he is, you may soon find yourself doing it more often. On the other hand, the guy can easily get into the habit of waiting to hear from you.

Let him keep his promise

When your boyfriend says that he'll call at a certain time and you see no signs of the promised call, a lot of questions may race through your mind. Has his cell phone been stolen? Has he been involved in an accident? Or has he perhaps gone away with another girl? Don't scare yourself stiff and rush to call in order to find out if he is okay.

Give the man time to honor his promise. And you should not hole yourself up as you wait for his call. Have fun. This will help both of you as you won't brood over and begin to hate him.

Spice up your relationship by adding a bit of mystery. Let him wonder what is happening and he will call to find out.

Tips on How to Call Your Man

It seems that as time goes by, the practice of dating is getting more and more tricky. While we live in a world of advanced Information Technology, there are numerous tacit rules that you have to abide by in order to be on the right side. There are currently plenty of rules regarding when you may call your man, and even how to go about it.

The phone is nowadays much more than just a mode of communication, entrenching itself as a very crucial component of the dating system.

Demonstrate independence

As a general rule, you are not the one who should take the initiative to call your man. While you may have gone out on a memorable date with a man, it is advisable that you should not pick up the phone to call him. This in itself is a great way of communicating. This will help you to demonstrate your independence, showing that you are not craving for attention. This in turn shows that you are worthy of pursuit. And that is what men enjoy doing.

As we have seen, the phone does more than just passing the message across. The men at times use the phone as a tool of manipulation. It also acts as some kind of a testing gauge. Your man may not call you in order to gauge how you react to his apparent lack of attention.

When you rush into finding out why he is lost, he will become even more assured that you are deeply involved in the relationship, which will just make him relax even more.

This means that when you would like to call your man, stop. Don't do it. Wait for him to find something of value to pursue in you instead. This requires a great deal of patience, but then as the saying goes - patience pays.

Although there are special cases when you may call a man, be cautious. You may end up driving him away.

Why Does He Suddenly Stop Calling?

While men tend to think of women as mysterious creatures, women too find it perplexing to understand their male counterparts. We usually find it quite difficult to determine what men are really thinking in spite of the fact that we are dating. This is due to some of the things that our dates do, which are at times rather irritating.

Many of us turn our minds upside down as we try to make sense of what our men are really up to, and why they react the way they do. One of the common things that puzzle many of us is why the men suddenly stop calling while we have been on an apparently great date. Well, the good news is that the real reasons are not quite that complicated.

Nothing to chase around

One of the inherent natures of men is their love to pursue what they are interested in. Right from childhood, you will notice that the male kids tend to chase one another relatively more than the girls. As they mature in age, their attraction shifts from their fellow boys to girls, who they will still chase around. The chasing progresses even into adulthood, except that they then usually go after women.

Men by nature love to lay their strategies such that they lure us into their nets. When they are still involved in this effort, they will go out of their way to call as frequently as deems reasonable. They don't need any major reason to call. For instance, your man may call just to tell you hi, or to let you know that he misses you.

So far, I guess you understand why your man will therefore stop calling you. Once he is assured that you have completely 'fallen' for him, he won't have much motivation to call any more. That is the time when he will start forgetting some of the things that were always at the top of his mind. As these little shows of tenderness subside, so will his calling. Many men do not see why they should keep on showering you with such attention.

So, while many of us are so worried when the men we are dating stop calling, thinking that they have probably lost interest, the opposite may be the case. When your man stops calling, chances are that he is assured of the stable relationship both of you have.

When your man stops calling, do not rush into calling him instead. Let him miss you and he will start pursuing you once more.

Should You Let The Man Call You Instead?

There are times that you may be so involved in a date with a wonderful man that you may get a very strong urge to call him up. What should you do in such a case? It can be a really trying situation for you, and you won't be the only lady who has undergone such a period. This is an issue that has disturbed women worldwide for many years. When you wait for your guy to call and the days drag by, it seems only reasonable to take the responsibility and call him instead.

For those of us who have taken this option, the response is not usually as receptive as we would expect. The primary lesson that we should learn is to let the man call you.

It is only natural for people to attempt to determine how each feels about the other. This is one of the areas where confusion starts in the developing relationship. Many women would love to talk with their men, and making phone calls seems the logical step to take. The problem is compounded by the fact that the men tend not to call as frequently as they would like. Many women therefore see the phone as the most convenient method of tracing their dates.

While we are not trying to say that every guy will respond in the same way, the fact is that men do not generally enjoy this act. While we are not saying that you should never call a man, you should not do it just after your initial date as much as possible. Do not be too impatient, in case he is truly into the relationship he will call at some point.

Wear his shoes

Men usually think quite differently from us. While we may not see anything into calling the men we are interested in even more than once within one day, the same is not true with the guys. While we associate this with a show of affection, the men tend to view it as a method of tracking them down.

This means that if you get into the habit of calling a man every now and then, you are more likely to drive him away instead. When you change your method by stopping to call and he is still interested in you, he will certainly call you. No man really enjoys losing the woman he loves.

What to Do When Your Guy Does Not Call Anymore

Although it is something that infuriates us, it is fairly common for many men to seem to forget the promises they make to call. This is something that makes many ladies undergo a lot of stress. Why is it that your boyfriend does not keep his promise to call you?

There are necessary measures that you need to take in such a situation. How you handle the matter may either make or break the relationship. You may end up making the man forget about making any calls for good. The tips mentioned here will help you to encourage your boyfriend to call once again.

Stop calling

Although many women do not realize it, they are actually the ones making their boyfriends stop calling in the first place. For example, in case you are in the habit of calling him every now and then, he will not really see any reason in calling you. Human beings and men in particular, are creatures of habit. Your boyfriend can easily get used to your calling, and will wait for it.

While many of us do not see anything wrong with making a number of calls within just one day, you should avoid calling him. At best, your boyfriend will become accustomed to this trend and won't have any motivation of calling instead. Worse is the fact that you may just push him further away by such frequent calls. You should therefore change your pattern and stop calling. When he does not get the calls he is used to, he will wonder what could be happening - and he will call.

Create an appealing effect

The truth is that both parties in a growing relationship will tend to take some actions that are meant to test their mates. This is another reason that may make your guy to stop calling. May be he is trying to gauge your reaction. This is a method that many men tend to use in order to determine how strongly we have gotten into our relationships with them.

When your boyfriend used to call you up and there seems to be a change of heart, you should take things easy. While you are likely to have a very strong urge to call him and ask what could be the matter, you should resist this temptation.

When he finally calls, you should as well resist the temptation to fly off the handle. Interestingly, your boyfriend is likely to be more attracted in case you do not make anything major out of the issue. When the guy sees that you are not entirely in his grasp, he won't relax in his efforts to get you. Here's a secret: http://howtomakeaguyfallinlovewithyou.com

Don't call

It is natural for you to experience an urge to pick up the phone and call your boyfriend. This seems to be the best course of action. Unfortunately, things are usually not as straight forward as they appear. You risk giving a very wrong impression of yourself. Necessary Etiquette for Women Calling Men

We find so many pieces of advice when it comes to calling the men in our lives, some of which are contradictory, that we are often left wondering which ones we should really follow. Some so-called experts advice that it is time that we took the initiative in strengthening our relationships by calling the men. On the other hand, others tell us the exact opposite - that we should never call the men.

If you are like me, then you have probably heard of such arguments. So, what should you do? In case you are dating someone, is it okay for you to pick up the phone and call him? Or should you anxiously wait for him to call? This is something that may throw you into a lot of confusion.

When it comes to women calling men, there are a lot of misunderstandings that have been going around for quite a while. There are important things that you need to bear in mind when you are thinking of calling a man, particularly when your relationship is moving towards the stronger direction you would like. As much as the man may be interested in you, you may send a signal of lifelong commitment too soon for comfort.

Arouse his desire

The trick is to arouse the man's desire in you. If you appear to be the one pursuing him, you will just dampen this desire, yet this is what calling him often will indicate. When the man gets this impression, he will be more likely to shut into his cocoon.

This does not mean that you should just sit around as your emotions eat you up. It is just that you need to understand how men react in order to lay your strategy well.

When you often take the initiative to call him up, he will have no motivation to do it. Not that he is not interested, just that you are already doing it, giving him the chance to relax. When you cut down on your phone calls asking how he is fairing, he will be interested in calling you back instead. He will be concerned as to what may be happening, and if he truly cares, he won't want to lose you to someone else.

The best advice for calling the man you date is to cut it but arouse their desire instead. Do not risk pushing him away.

Don't Wait For Him to Call Too

One of the most common mistakes that we tend to make is to wait for the men to call us, no matter how long it takes. Have you ever been in a situation where you dated a great guy, who promised to give you a call only for days to turn into weeks with no response? Given that you have been advised not to call a guy, you wait for him to take the initiative as time passes you by. Unfortunately, it's your own time that will be wasted, not his.

You will hardly gain anything by sitting around as you wait for him, whether it is with patience or not. It is fairly common for us to be carried into great emotional heights when we go out on a good date. After such a wonderful occasion, time tends to grind by painfully slowly as we wait for another call. As a result, we even lose concentration on the things we do as we anticipate the call. This may become the center of focus for some of us, even shunning associating with our acquaintances.

Unfortunately, you will be sacrificing your independence by acting this way, yet this is a very valuable quality you possess. There are many aspects of independence, including emotional, at least as you begin your relationship with a guy. Interestingly, it is this show of independence that will attract your guy more than you realize.

So you should not let your whole life grind to a halt in anticipation of his call. You just fit him into your daily schedule. If you seem to be arranging your life around him instead, you risk just driving him away.

You should go on with your daily life instead of sitting around waiting for him. The fact that you met him does not mean that you should stop everything you have been involved in. It is actually this that will make the guy want to pursue you. If you seem to be too easy a catch, you will just make him lose interest.

When you are dating a guy, don't wait for him to call. Go on with your life and he will follow you.
